Ceux qui portent l'histoire

Personnages principaux

Candide

The naive hero, expelled from Edenic shelter and dragged through war, shipwreck, and the Inquisition while chasing Cunégonde across two continents. He ends up married, rich enough, and quietly done with philosophy — a gardener.
