Eine Assassinen-Königin kehrt von den Toten zurück, um ein Imperium niederzubrennen.
Wer die Handlung trägt
The lost Queen of Terrasen, hiding behind her assassin name Celaena Sardothien. She returns to Rifthold to free her cousin and kill the king—and learns that reclaiming a throne means burning every tie that once defined her, including Arobynn.
Aelin's Fae warrior and conscience, who spars with her at dawn and pins her with the truth: act like a queen. He watches her blood oath with Aedion from the corner, unreadable, and crowns her with flame at the end.
Aelin's cousin and the rebel general of Terrasen, imprisoned and flogged thirty lashes without screaming. Freed from the dungeons, he kneels and swears the blood oath: 'I am yours, and you are mine.'
The Captain of the Guard, walking with a cane and drowning in guilt over Dorian. He fears what Aelin has become, accuses her of being a monster, and still refuses to draw his sword on the possessed prince he loves like a brother.
The crown prince wearing a black collar and a Valg prince inside him. He tells Aelin no one can save him—until she shows him the Wyrdkey and the demon is ripped screaming from his body.
A courtesan and shape-shifter trained by Arobynn to spy on Aelin, who defects instead. She wears Aelin's face as a decoy after the poisoning and shifts into a sea dragon to carry her across the ocean.
Heir of the Blackbeak witch clan, ordered to train the Ironteeth for war at Morath. She claims the rejected wyvern Abraxos, protects Elide, and finally tells her grandmother 'Good' when she's disowned.
A limping servant at Morath with clever eyes, secretly Lady of Perranth. Manon spares her, arms her with a cloak and knife, and tells her to run without looking back.
The King of the Assassins who raised and betrayed Aelin, and admitted orchestrating Sam's death. He dies poisoned in his bed, his last words a claim of love she answers with cold satisfaction.
Ebenfalls dabei
The conqueror whose Wyrdkeys open portals between worlds—and who turns out to be a Valg puppet. He destroys his own glass castle and dies apologizing to his son.
